The right veil for your wedding gown
Choosing the right veil has never been easy for some brides. As a general rule, if your wedding dress is heavily embellished, your veil should be clean and simple, with minimal extras not only in embellishment but also in price range. And vice versa: A simple, streamlined gown allows you to be a bit more adventurous in choosing your veil to suit your needs.

Don't be afraid to play around with unexpected shapes, accents and textures, like a floral embellished cathedral-length veil, a lace cap or a couture-inspired veil with over-the-top volume, or if you want to go vintage, try a bird cage veil as well. Try to create a balance as well when it comes to the type of embellishments—while they don't necessarily have to match the ones on your dress exactly, they should complement them in color, size and style. For instance, a glamorous sequined veil, , would feel out of place next to a romantic gown embroidered with tiny pearls. Your veil should enhance your wedding gown.
Accessorizing your wedding gown

Many times a bride goes shopping for wedding gowns, there is a slight chance she might not find the perfect gown.. In her mind, something is always missing, either the sleeves are too short or too long, the neckline needs to be lowered, skirt needs to be fuller and the list goes on. She could go from one store to the next spending countless hours to find the" Wow" gown or something close to it. Don't ever panic if that ever happens to you, just think of some creative ideas while you are trying on these gowns and see how you can add embellishments to enhance the look.
Like my client Maritza in this picture who bought this gorgeous strapless gown and wanted to add a 1920's inspiration feel to it. She went and bought a couple of yards of feather fringe and a rhinestone sash to create the look she wanted. At Lordana studio, the process began by using the feathers fringe yardages cut into two shoulder straps, infused a couple of layers together to give the straps fullness by using snaps to attach them to the front and back of the gown. The feathers being a whiter shade, actually added a nice contrast to the off white gown. The rhinestone sash belt was sewn to the gown waistline for stability to keep the center piece in place.
Everything turned out to be beautiful and she looked beautiful in the gown when she was walking down the aisle. Remember, there is always a solution for everything. You just have to stay calm and let your creativity flow when shopping for your wedding gown.

It is very nice for the dress to make such a huge comeback this year. For the fall and winter the waist line again has returned! The fitted dress style provides a truly much needed remedy to all the trapeze shapes of this past summer. Dresses will be sexier and edgier but not skin tight and the comfort ability will remain.
Hemlines will be up and down depending on the styles, the dress lines will be easy on the figure to enhance the curves. Usually, most dresses are styled to fall just above the knees, which area flattering length on most women, and also a comfortable length for most accessories
One of the design style dresses that seem to stay around for ever is the shirtdress. It is truly a classic style, it can be worn for fun or for business, very functional and shows off you natural waist.
When it comes to dresses, try to make your own statements by accessorize your dress to where you will feel comfortable. The important thing is to show off your feminine looks.
