Lordana Designs Inc. formerly know as Michoula by GP Designs Inc. was created in 1991. Guerda became engrossed in fashion at an early age and was influenced by her mother who was in the textiles business.
Having worked professionally in the fashion industry both in New York, and Miami, Florida for many years,Guerda has accquired the skills and the knowledge Over the years, she wore many hats such as a designer, assistant designer, pattern maker, and stylist and also as a coordinator, director and producer of fashion shows and special events. She hold a dergree in fashion design from Newbury College in Brookline,MA. A degree in Professional Adminstration Management and in Education Technology from Barry University in Miami, Florida. She is now currently working on her second masters in fashion design at the Academy of Art university.
A former adjunct professor at Miami Dade College, she is currently a full time fashion design instructor at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale and runs her own designing company in Hollywood, FL where she provides customs designs through seasonal collections in prom gowns, bridal/evening/haute couture, swimwear costumes and custom jewelry. Her designs have been seen and published in various magazines and news papers throughout nationally and internationally.
Having taken the time to raise her children who are now 21 and 23. Guerda is ready to -re-embrace herself.
